2 posts in one day! Its a miracle! And FINALLY…..Christmas pics!
So heres the deal. Christmas eve is a massive feast/family time w/ my family. It is held at my Mommie’s house where 20 of us cram into her 1100 square foot house. Its cozy, but we LOVE it. We all buy gifts for basically everyone (which is pure madness) although my cousins and I have worked out a deal so that we just buy for each others kids unless the cousin IS still a kid. Except that Tracy and Lindy BROKE that covenant this year and gave me some beautiful angels representing peace and hope. They are so sweet and it made me cry. Anyways…My younger cousin, Ashley who is 17 will have a rude awakening coming soon. I remember my transition into adulthood was uncomfortable come Christmas time. I still wanted to be a kid and get tons of presents. Well, for a couple more years she problably will.

Christmas day is lunch w/ Jeffs family. This year we blew off the traditional ham and dressing dinner (its ok, we get leftovers at my moms house!) and we had STEAK! Yum!

We had a blast at both places. WE love our families. Mine is WAY crazier than his, but it keeps us on our toes. And on our knees!
With so much going on (health wise) we went a little light on Christmas giving for each other this year. I gave Jeff the Simpsons movie, Scene It: friends edition, some jeans (by which he was devestated b/c he has moved up a size…who hasnt!?), and I cant remember what else. Hey, it was almost a month ago! And Jeff had the theme (who else but Jeff) of "everyday living" for my gifts this year. He gave me some under shirts for my scrubs (longsleeve), a chick-fil-a calendar w/ all the cupons..yum!, a starbucks giftcard, and a some hoop earrings. Finally, he wow’d me w/ a peridot pendant neclace. Its the birthstone of August…when our baby would have been due. He wanted me to always have something to remind us of our special baby. Wow. Anyone else need a tissue besides me?

So Christmas was great. The new year is off to a great start and we are excited for all God has for us!
