interviews

Jeff has interviewed w/ Dacula high school, grayson, and parkview this week for a math position. Please keep us in your prayers…his 1st pick is my old stomping grounds (Dacula). That kinda makes me laugh. I was ragged as a teen by everyone of jeffs friends for not going to central and now look at who works at dacula…Kyle williams, leighanne landress, elliott rodgers…and hopefully add to the list Jeff Ford! haha! I dont see anybody choosing CENTRAL! :P

Memories, new and old

Jeff and I got to go to dinner tonight w/ Drew Hullinger and Rusty Collins from highschool. It was so much fun catching up on everything! And the best part of the night was back at Rusty’s parents house where his 2 boys (Fisher-3 and Sawyer-1 and a half) and I became good friends and played the night away while the grown ups reminisced about the days when they were in shape and could play baseball well. OUCH! haha. Well, they may all move a little slower these days but they are all still great guys and it was great to hear about all they have going on. I love catching up with old friends…especially when you havent seen each other in years and then you have conversation like you havent missed a beat. Those kind of friends are the greatest.

So now I have 2 new boyfriends. Watch out Jeff…Fisher even slipped me some tongue when he gave me a bye kiss! And Sawyer gave me the best bear hug ever…right after he whopped me upside the head w/ his truck. I think the hitting means he likes me? They are GREAT kids…

Calculus…

Yes, its the stuff I clean off teeth all day and for me, that’s easy!!! But for Jeff calculus has a whole different meaning. Basically, it is what is currently haunting him. He is retaking the G.A.C.E on Saturday. He failed the calculus portion last time by 8 points. Keep in mind that he never even picked up a book and that its been 9 years since his last calc class. So this time he is trying to be more prepared…so lets keep our fingers crossed for a passing score this time. I know he can do it…he’s really smart (especially in math…YUCK!). So keep him in mind on Saturday morning and feel free to ask God to remind him of all the confusing stuff he’s been studying. I hope it makes sense to him, because I am seriously confused by all the study sheets he has laying around the house! :-)
